$21.94 to $24.13 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Government Center/Viera/Travels Countywide. Works schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Performs experienced para-professional work planning, organizing, and coordinating projects relating to the development of County and/or community resources for the Public Works Department.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, Social Science, English, a field related to the area of assignment, or any other closely related field. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Must have one (1) year of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver’s license and maintain said license during the term of employment. Must be able to pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check administered by the Brevard County Sheriff's Office. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
