Night Shift Warehouse Team Member at Bongards Creameries

Bongards’ Creameries is seeking a Warehouse Team Member based out of our Humboldt facility. The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for completing Material Handling duties while safely operating Powered Industrial Trucks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of a Powered Industrial Truck (Forklift) in a cold environment (40 degree F)
• Load and Unload trucks that are staged at the warehouse
• Pile up 50lb cheese blocks
• Re-piling of 30lb finished Loaf product
• Setting up orders
• Ongoing PIT (Forklift) training and certification
• Use EMS inventory management system
• Standing and walking throughout the shift
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent Math and Reading skills
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines

• Ability to work independently on assigned duties
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Adaptable to both Cold and Warm weather conditions
• Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, other quality guidelines
• Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or designated replacement
• Flexible work schedule availability
• Previous Forklift experience is a plus
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs

Schedule:

• Night Shift 5:00pm to 3:00am Monday – Friday, some Saturdays
