Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial professional to join our Pan-Alternatives team. This individual will be responsible for developing institutional relationships within a defined region and/or client type (Taft Hartley, Endowment, Foundation, Municipality, Family Office, etc), with a focus on selling institutional funds and holistic solutions across alternatives.
The Pan-Alternatives team serves as the strategic client-facing group within Aksia, aligning firmwide resources to provide tailored solutions to sophisticated allocators. This is a high-impact, outward-facing role with direct responsibility for relationship development, sales execution, and client management. This position can be based in one of our office locations or fully remote and will involve interaction with global colleagues and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead business development and relationship management within a target region and/or client type.
- Develop and execute a regional growth strategy targeting new LP relationships and deepening existing ones.
- Serve as the primary interface with prospective clients, crafting and delivering presentations, proposals, and strategic insights.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across research, investment, operations, and client advisory teams to deliver seamless and insightful client experiences.
- Stay abreast of evolving market trends, fund strategies, and client needs to position Aksia’s offerings competitively and credibly.
Qualifications:
- 6–12 years of experience in investor relations, business development, or institutional sales with a focus on alternative investments.
- Knowledge of alternative investment strategies, including private equity, private credit, real assets and/or hedge funds.
- Demonstrated success cultivating LP relationships across a region or client type.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple complex client engagements and internal workstreams.
- High degree of initiative, integrity, and commercial acumen
