As the Geotechnical Project Engineer Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing project execution, mentoring engineering staff, and ensuring the delivery of dependable, high-quality geotechnical solutions. This leadership position involves applying advanced technical expertise, assessing project risks, and fostering strong client relationships. You'll be responsible for managing resources effectively, driving business development initiatives, and encouraging continuous learning and team growth.

• Team Leadership: Guide and manage engineering personnel to complete geotechnical tasks efficiently and successfully.
• Project & Client Oversight: Lead efforts across project management, client engagement, and operational oversight.
• Proposal & Documentation Management: Draft proposals and technical documentation or delegate responsibilities to qualified team members.
• Strategic Resource Allocation: Assign staff strategically to meet project goals and financial benchmarks.
• Business Development & Client Relations: Support cross-disciplinary services, contribute to expanding business opportunities, and build lasting client partnerships within the region.

What You Bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Mining Engineering, or a related field
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field
• A Professional Engineer license in North Carolina or can obtain one by reciprocity
• Experience in recruiting, developing, and managing staff, or the desire to learn
• Experience and a desire for business development activities
