Job Summary:The Change and Events manager will be responsible for orchestrating organizational change initiatives and executing impactful events that drive engagement, alignment, and growth. This position blends project management, communications expertise, and event coordination skills to ensure successful delivery of both change management programs and high-visibility organizational events.
This role will work across departments and engage with stakeholders at all levels to foster a culture of adaptability, innovation, and collaboration. You will design, plan, and implement change strategies, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum benefit to the organization, while simultaneously managing the end-to-end lifecycle of key events—ranging from internal town halls to large-scale corporate conferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Change Management Lead to develop and implement change management strategies for new initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.
- Drive stakeholder assessments to identify potential impacts and readiness for change.
- Design and deliver change management plans, including communications, training, and support strategies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, proactively mitigating resistance and addressing concerns.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as required.
- Event Planning and Execution
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of organizational events, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and brand values.
- Design event concepts, agendas, and formats to optimize engagement and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budget oversight, and on-site operations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Evaluate event success through feedback, surveys, and KPIs, implementing improvements for future events.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as point of contact for VCC leaders, project sponsors, and teams throughout change and event processes.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, promoting transparency and shared ownership of outcomes.
- Communications
- Develop tailored communication plans for diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and alignment at every stage.
- Craft compelling messages, presentations, and materials to articulate the vision, impact, and benefits of change initiatives and events.
- Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and briefing materials to prepare teams for upcoming changes or events.
- Leverage digital platforms, internal newsletters, and multimedia content to maximize reach and engagement.
- Continuous Improvement
- Capture lessons learned, feedback, and best practices to inform future change projects and events.
- Monitor industry trends, technologies, and benchmarks to introduce innovative approaches and tools.
- Create and maintain documentation, playbooks, and templates to support organizational readiness for ongoing change and events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in business administration, Communications, or a related field, with 10+ years in change management roles.
- Proven experience in change management, digital transformation, with a strong track record of successfully leading large-scale organizational and change initiatives.
- Expertise in change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Exceptional communication skills to manage enterprise-wide communication and engaging diverse audiences.
