ACCIONA Energía is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support the development and construction of renewable energy projects. This position provides hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers on electrical design, specifications, and contractor management for large-scale renewable energy facilities.Job Description
What You’ll Do:
Support electrical engineering contractors with renewable facility design, including reviewing drawings, specifications, and RFIs.
Assist project managers with preliminary design of low voltage systems, collection systems, and substations.
Contribute to the development and updates of electrical specifications and standards for contractors.
Assist with preparing bid packages and evaluating contractor and supplier proposals.
Review electrical equipment and material proposals and prepare bid tab evaluations.
Take on additional engineering support tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Competencies

Currently enrolled in a B.S. program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Effective team player who can also work independently.
Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn from experienced engineers.
Proficiency with MS Office and general computer literacy.
Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel if required.
