The Role

We’re looking for an organised and professional customer-centric leader based in Perth to coordinate this team and help us continue delivering exceptional service across Australia.

What the Role’s About

The role is responsible for efficient daily scheduling and operation of the relevant regional Delivery & Installation operation. You will facilitate proactive communication between the delivery fleet and customers (internal and external), and be responsible for managing resource, capability and inventory constraints and timelines to ensure a seamless and effortless D&I experience for customers. It also oversees and coordinates on the job training and development of delivery & installation team members, supporting the D&I Manager in the day to day running of the D&I Team. 

You will be responsible for meeting agreed timelines and targets through the ownership and coordination of resources in fulfilment, delivery and installation of products and product changeovers to internal and external customers. The role involves ownership of delivery and resource constraints, training, vehicle and delivery schedules, communication to internal and external stakeholders of delays and schedule changes. 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and coordinating training and development of our D&I team 

  • Collaborating cross functionally to streamline processes, improve customer service level and D&I truck utilisation, including reporting and analysis to drive performance 

  • Develop and maintains delivery & installation standard operating procedures

  • Role modelling the behaviours expected to ensure our customers experience an optimal delivery and install experience as they expect from our brand.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about what good looks like in the field, and who is also a natural leader and collaborator. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, be confident managing budgets and performance metrics, and know how to get the best out of people together to solve problems. 

Ideally, you’ll have: 

  • Some leadership experience in logistics or delivery operations or be ready to step up

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 

  • Experience in final mile delivery or installation services 

  • Strong Excel and ERP system knowledge (e.g. JD Edwards/Oracle) 

  • A strong commitment to health and safety
