About the role

As our new Fleet Vehicle Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the ongoing relationship between V/Line and VicFleet, as well as managing activities across the fleet lifecycle.

Reporting to the Vehicle Fleet Manager, this role focuses on safe, efficient, and cost-effective fleet operations, requiring strong logistics, technical vehicle knowledge, and people coordination. Additional duties may be assigned in line with the employee’s skills and classification.

 

About you

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Must have 5+ years’ experience as a Fleet Coordinator (or equivalent position)

  • Demonstrated experience managing Fleet services throughout the Vehicle Life Cycle

  • Established time management and prioritisation skills

  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Proven experience working with Vic Fleet directly (highly desirable)

  • Demonstrated experience engaging and maintaining relationships with Fleet Management Organisation representatives (highly desirable)

 

Remuneration for this position is commensurate to the successful candidate’s aligned skills and experience to the position.

Remuneration for this position will be in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2023 / Asset Management Enterprise Agreement 2023).
