Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Cancer Clinical Trials Nurse Coordinator (Level 2) to join the Cancer Clinical Trials Unit.

 

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.

 

Services are provided through our five main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital.  In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

 

About the Role:

 

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Cancer Clinical Trials Coordinator/Nurse – Level 2 to join the team at Northern Health.

This role will be responsible for the conduct of Cancer Clinical Trials within in the Northern Health Haematology, Medical Oncology and/or Palliative Care Services.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • Experience and good working knowledge as a Clinical Trial Coordinator/Nurse .
  • Degree level of education or other relevant further education.
  • Experience in Medical Oncology and/or Haematology Nursing.
  • Personal integrity and discretion.
  • Demonstrated excellent team working skills with ability to work using own initiative.
  • Effective listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Clinical Trials experience including working knowledge of Australian and International statutory and regulatory requirements.
