Business Overview
Our Clients & Strategy team covers Business Development, Investor Relations, External Relations, Sustainable Investment and Brand, Marketing & Communications, including Internal Communications.
It is responsible for all communications to investor prospects, existing investors and their asset consultants, as well as a broad range of other stakeholders, including governments and media.

The Role
Assist the Global Client Solutions Team across a broad range of responsibilities and activities covering both Relationship Management and Business Development activities
The role’s principal focus is to contribute to the Global Client Solutions’ fundraising, investor relations, and business development initiatives by providing quantitative and qualitative information on our various asset classes and assisting with client reporting.
The role will have a primary focus, either Relationship Management or Business Development, and employees will be expected to support both streams as directed. Examples of the type of responsibilities within each stream include:
Relationship Management:
- Support Investor Relations activities and interactions with existing clients including questionnaires and ad hoc requests
- Support development and maintenance of Account Management Plans
- Salesforce and Investor Connect management
- Other projects as directed
Business Development
- Responsible for updating investor and consultant databases
- Responding to investor and consultant qualitative and quantitative questionnaires
- Support updating and improving marketing materials
- Manage the maintenance of data room and due diligence materials
- Support Business Development activities and interactions with prospects
- Support the development and maintenance of Sales Plans
Strategic Planning
Research and Due Diligence
- Support due diligence processes
- Develop and maintain accurate marketing and due diligence materials
- Manage quality, accuracy and timeliness of RFPs, including drafting where required
- Maintain current due diligence materials in the investor data room
- Market research – quality and breadth across asset classes /competitors/prospects/investors
Sales and Consultants
- Support Business Development Directors by actively contributing to the fundraising strategy
- Accurate and timely responses to consultant/prospect/investor queries
- Preparation for meetings/briefings
- Maintain detailed and accurate tracking data for prospect/consultants/existing investors including meaningful and timely recording of interactions on Salesforce and other IFM platforms
- Assist with fund closings
- Contribute to building IFM brand awareness
- Risk management (regulatory environment, client suitability)
- Manage maintenance of Salesforce fundraising tracking to ensure that all Salesforce opportunities are up to date and accurate on an ongoing basis
Investor Relationship Management
- Quality, accuracy and timeliness of responses to investor/consultant queries
- ISQ Relationship Satisfaction Score
Teamwork
- Assessment of individual’s contribution to the team (regional/globally) during busy periods i.e. actively contributes in a positive and productive manner
- Ability to build trust and effective working relationships across IFM and demonstrates strong integration between GCS and other IFM teams
Your Background and Experience
- 2-3+ years in a reporting analytical, or sales support environment within financial services/asset management, experience in RFPs and Client Service a plus
- Ability to prioritize numerous deliverables and communicating timelines with the broader team
- Strong sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Helpful but not required: Tertiary qualifications in economics, finance or related field, commerce CFA or CAIA
- Willingness to acquire SIE, Series 7 and Series 63 within a reasonable timeframe.
Business Knowledge
- Basic understanding of institutional private markets sales process.
- Understanding of and adherence to marketing compliance regulations.
- Knowledge of institutional investor and private markets consultant landscape.
- Prior knowledge of and/or interest in the Infrastructure and Private Credit asset classes.
- Strong quantitative skills and understanding of financial concepts
Technical Knowledge
- Ability to visualize data
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to relate technical financial and investment related content
- Familiar with CRM systems or client reporting platforms, Salesforce knowledge a plus
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Exact compensation amount may vary and will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual’s experience, skills and qualifications. Total compensation for this role includes eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.
$159,000 – $170,000
