The Production Scheduler will be responsible for planning the daily line schedules according to manufacturing sequencing and packaging scheduling guidelines. This position would report to the Service Manager and will be required to work Thursday - Sunday 7am - 5pm and is eligible for overtime. The position is based out of Cambridge, Ontario.

Responsibilities:
  • Planning the daily line schedules according to manufacturing sequencing and packaging scheduling guidelines.
  • Working closely with packaging team to react to changing circumstances and adjust schedules accordingly
  • Collaborating with manufacturing team to plan PMs and project work
  • Validating inventory data between systems and monitoring levels to action against fill-rate risk.
  • Participating in Product Supply & S&D meeting venues
  • Generating information for and compiling weekly data reports for fill rate, innovation and attainment.
  • Running reports & analysis to support warehouse velocity tasks
  • Leveraging SAP to key and adjust loads to mitigate fill rate risk and warehouse velocity
  • Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • High degree of organization and prioritization skills, and attention to detail.
  • Able to maintain professional disposition even when faced with difficult situations.
  • Prior experience with MS Excel/Word and SAP.
  • Experience in a production scheduling environment is considered an asset.
  • Prior experience in production is considered an asset.
