The Power Systems Sales Analyst is responsible for performing Power Systems analytics and supporting the department’s Sales, Rental, and Service objectives. Increases revenue through data-driven insights, process improvements, and cross-department collaboration. Provides reporting, analysis, and recommendations that strengthen customer relationships, improve sales performance, and drive organizational growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

·        Develop a strong understanding of Sales, Rental, and Service operations, company policies, and practices that impact each phase of business.

·        Partner with experienced staff to learn methods, procedures, and standards required to support departmental goals.

·        Drive customer-focused business decisions supported by thorough data analysis.

·        Align Sales, Service, and Rental processes to support and achieve department and corporate objectives.

·        Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales performance, rental utilization, service execution, and customer satisfaction.

·        Collect, interpret, and summarize data to identify opportunities for improvement in Sales, Rental, and Service performance.

·        Provide accurate and timely reporting of KPIs and performance metrics to Warren CAT and Caterpillar leadership teams.

·        Support organizational change by building reporting tools, delivering training, and ensuring best practices are followed in Sales, Rental, and Service processes.

·        Review and analyze lost sales and service reports to capture additional market intelligence.

·        Monitor and track return on investment for departmental initiatives and systems.

·        Participate in ongoing decisions concerning data collection, study design, methodology, and analysis related to Sales, Rental, and Service.

·        Present analytical findings and recommendations in a clear, actionable format to stakeholders.

·        Build and maintain strong relationships with Sales, Rental, and Service teams, as well as with Caterpillar business partners.

·        Other Duties as assigned.

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with major in Statistics, Business, Marketing, or related field with 4 or more years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

·        Knowledge of statistical methodologies and techniques.

·        Business awareness and numerical ability.

·        Ability to run and operate database systems.

·        Good knowledge of computer hardware and software and ability to learn new software.

·        Proficient in using analytical tools and instruments.
