GHSP is currently hiring a Maintenance & Facility Leader to join our Facilities team in Grand Haven.
What You’ll Do
Facility Management
Provides technical input and leads projects to maximize facilities efficiencies that include; layout, flow, facilities up-keep, expansions, and projects. Leads and/or participates in a make vs. buy decision process of projects. Ensures facility is properly maintained, environmentally friendly and always customer-ready.
ISO14001 / Environmental Management
Provides plant leadership for ISO14001 and the standardization of GHSP’s environmental Systems. Participates as a member of the ISO14001 Steering Committee. Leads visits and audits for our EMS system and usage.
Production Processes and Equipment
Ensures equipment reliability for a robust and capable process entering the facility. Ensures technical resources and support of the day-to-day operations at the manufacturing location. Ensures technical resources help manufacturing problem solve and implement Error Proofing solutions. Supports MFMEA's internal/external, DFT/DFMA's, and 3P's.
PM and Work Orders
Is the overall “owner” of the system for the plant and ensures plant-wide use of the work order system. Ensures proper workload balance of PMs for technical team. Provides leadership to the team so PMs are efficient and effective for each machine and process in the manufacturing plant.
Lead Maintenance and Tooling Teams
Provides direction and leadership of Maintenance, Maintenance Support and Tooling teams including prioritizing activities and assigns work. Ensures work is completed safely, effectively and efficiently.
