The City Council is actively seeking an Information Systems Administrator.

Position Duties
- Performs inspections and provides information for asset management related to technology; provides the make, model, serial number, property number, and location of each asset.
- Notifies Council Property Officer as changes in equipment and/or location occur.
- Attends meetings and other events to provide audio/visual equipment operation, broadcasting/streaming requirements, and computer systems and related software, and performs pre-meeting testing of systems and hardware according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Responds to public records requests for audio and video files and provides copies of digital media as required.
- Operates and maintains operating systems, audio/visual equipment, recording and broadcasting equipment and communications devices. Coordinates procurement, installation, and maintenance of systems and equipment.
- Determines and analyzes methods for conversion of data into proper format. Converts all audio and video records for publication to the web and other outlets.
- Performs related work as assigned.
- Provides leadership, technical assistance, and support in the development, duplication, broadcast and distribution of radio and television announcements, podcasts, videos, b-roll segments, press conferences, meetings, etc.
- Develops and launches programming to be broadcast in multiple vehicles including Comcast 99, YouTube, Web site, etc.
- Explores and leads the development and launch of innovative broadcast offerings/tools.
- Reviews and evaluates scripts and edits tapes and other multi-media.
- Operates, maintains, and schedules production facilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of audio-visual production theories, principles, and practices.
- Knowledge of audio-visual and studio equipment and materials.
- Knowledge of graphic art hardware and software applications.
- Ability to analyze, design, install, maintain, and modify computer systems.
- Ability to identify, diagnose and correct system problems.
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement special programs and projects.
- Ability to provide positive customer service to continue and enhance that attitude throughout the division, thereby demonstrating their acknowledgement that the customer comes first.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Ability to operate audio-visual and studio equipment, including studio cameras, minicams, lighting equipment, and audio equipment.
- Ability to prepare, write, and/or edit audio-visual scripts, public service announcements, and related presentation materials.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment such as personal computers utilizing word process and spreadsheet applications, copiers, and related equipment.
- Ability to read, understand, and apply written technical materials related to audio-visual equipment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to schedule and coordinate production activities.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Other Qualifications
- Four (4) year combination of education and/or experience in video production, public relations, communications and, audio-visual programming.
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution - preferred.
- Strong audio-visual experience - preferred.
