The yearly salary for this position is $72,000-76,000.

  • Knowledge of Native American history, an understanding of the diversity of the local Indigenous/Alaska Native community, and awareness of issues affecting the Urban Indian experience are required.
  • You are skilled in staff supervision, mentorship, and professional development.
  • You possess strong communication skills, trauma-informed approaches, and the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
  • You thrive in a team-oriented workplace, are adaptable, and can balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on support when necessary.
  • You are proficient in computer skills, including web-based research, word processing, MS Excel, database management, and email.
  • Certification (or ability to certify) in CPR, First Aid, and AED is required.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure high-quality, culturally based resident services are provided at NAYA housing sites and contracted partner sites.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and support Resident Services Coordinator team members, including administering performance improvement plans or disciplinary actions when needed.

  • Coordinate site-level activities, workgroups, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data entry and reporting for program obligations, and develop systems to track and report on NAYA Resident Services outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, landlords, and property managers to ensure positive living environments.
  • Collaborate with NAYA leadership, property management, and service delivery teams to coordinate efforts and support housing stability.
  • Support grant writing, government proposals, program budgets, and funder reports.
  • Represent NAYA professionally in community partnerships, meetings, and public events and coordinate wraparound services effectively with other NAYA Family Center programs and staff.
  • Uphold confidentiality and ensure smooth coordination with other NAYA Family Center programs.
