The Account Executive in a combination of a customer services capacity to the company’s most valuable accounts and analysis of micro and macro trends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and capture orders for Pioneer and the company’s top vendors.
- Provide quotes in accordance with Pioneer’s guidelines.
- Understand the supplier’s evolving objectives and Pioneer’s role to satisfy them.
- Understand and speak to the significance and value of Pioneer’s support functions.
- Be an expert in Pioneer’s market segment.
- Have a clear understanding of vendor products and applications.
- Understand growth market segments and products Pioneer to maintain success.
- Anticipate changes in the vendor relationships as well as threats from the industry and competitors.
- Travel to tradeshows and vendor sites.
- Articulate (verbal and in writing) sales and customer service communications internally and externally.
- Work onsite effectively as part of the Pioneer team.
- Performs other duties as required.
