Description
MAJOR FUNCTION:
Support and assist financial advisors with the planning, research, and trading processes and acts independently as required and directed within the Financial Advisor role to provide efficient and high-quality client service.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Assist Financial Advisor(s) with investment research and review for client investment accounts
- Assist Financial Advisor(s) in researching, reviewing, and processing client annuities and insurance
- Assist Financial Advisor(s) in creating, updating, and reviewing client GPM
- Assist Financial Advisor(s) with client review preparation and follow-up
- Assist Financial Advisor(s) in developing, creating, and updating client reports
- Place investment trades at client or FA’s request
- Attend various training sessions online or out of town
- Maintain Client Relationship Management Software
- Staff is required to be flexible with their weekly hours due to workflow and other unique situations that may arise.
- Complete all initial and annual training requirements as outlined by ASBT and Raymond James.
- Perform all other duties as required, consistent with the goals, objectives, and responsibilities of the Investments Services function.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in financial, accounting or marketing industries
- Must hold all required securities and state insurance licenses
- Working knowledge of investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry
- Strong initiative, willingness to learn, hardworking and positive attitude
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, follow instructions and adhere to deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work interactively with co-workers and clients.
- Telephone skills and computer proficiency required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Skilled in use of office equipment such as scanner, copier, fax machine and calculator.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Confidentiality and tactfulness in dealing with bank and customer information is mandatory.
- Ability to conduct relationships with co-workers, customers, the community, and the overall public in a manner which will enhance the bank’s image and comprehensive marketing effort.
- Will be called upon from time to time to participate with community organizations and projects.
