Empath Health is seeking a compassionate Full-Time CNA/Program Aide to join our interdisciplinary PACE team in Pinellas Park, FL. Under the direction and supervision of the Day Center Supervisor, the CNA/Program Aide is responsible for providing and assisting participants with activities of daily living, restorative and supportive care. What You’ll Do
- Supports the efforts of the Recreation Therapist by assisting with the implementation of the scheduled activities.
- Supports the efforts of the Registered Dietitian by assisting with serving meals and monitoring PACE participants’ feeding and eating capabilities.
- Assists in monitoring and reporting the health status and providing a safe environment for the PACE participants of SUNCOAST PACE.
Position Requirements
- Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required. Current Certification as Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) in the State of Florida
- Continuing Education: As required for licensure.
- Certifications:
- Current Certification as Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) in the State of Florida required
- Home Health Aide certification with 75 hours completed preferred
- Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
