The role
TITLE: Project Manager
DEPARTMENT: Product Management
REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Product Management
SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $90,000 USD (Placement within this range is dependent upon experience and location)
LOCATION: Hybrid, NYC. Employees are expected in the office two days a week, with Wednesday as the core in-office day, and can work from home on the other days.

Summary of Team
The Product team at Catalyst plays a central role in driving innovation, strategic alignment, and inclusive learning solutions across the organization. Their work spans research, product development, events, and digital platform strategy. This team is focused on advanced Catalyst’s mission through research, tools, and events. Team members on the Product Team are deeply involved in cross-functional efforts to scale Catalyst’s global reach and digital transformation.
Summary of Responsibilities
This Project Manager will serve as the connective tissue across the Product Team’s diverse workstreams—ensuring alignment, clarity, and momentum. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, systems thinker, and detail-oriented executor who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This role is critical to helping the team meet evolving supporter needs, manage competing priorities, and deliver on strategic goals.
Essential Functions:
Web publishing project management
- Manage the process between content development and webpage building to ensure that the webpages are built as intended by the content development team
- Manage the publishing calendar in partnership with internal stakeholders
- Ensure that all metadata has been added to webpages ahead of publishing
- Ensure all final assets and source files properly named, tagged, categorized and archived in the appropriate Aprimo locations
- Assist in supporting the distribution of SCORM files
Translation project and vendor management
- Oversee the end-to-end management of translation projects, ensuring that assets are localized accurately and delivered on schedule
- Track and manage approved translation budget, ensuring alignment with project scopes and cost efficiency
- Ensure quality control of translated content by reviewing vendor deliverables and obtaining necessary approvals
- Utilize AI to streamline translation process at a high quality
Events project management
- Provide coordination support to the Events team ahead of virtual and in person events
General Project Management Support
- Act as the central coordinator across product initiatives, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are clearly defined and tracked
- Run the Product Roadmap Asana and spreadsheet: keep track of changes, run weekly standup
- Stay aligned with cross-functional teams when working together on shared projects
- In partnership with Product Managers and KTSD team members, coordinate the implementation of Supporter feedback on Fee For Service (FFS) products
Knowledge and Skills:
- 2-5 years experiences as a project manager
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Resourcefulness and ability to work collaboratively
- Proficiency in project management tools (Asana, JIRA)
- Proficiency in using and managing assets in a Digital Asset Management system (Aprimo)
- Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing digital translation projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Sharepoint)
