We’re hiring a Safety Advisor with approximately 5+ years of practical experience in occupational safety. If you’re passionate about solving safety challenges, delivering high-quality training, and making real improvements in workplace safety, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a trusted safety advisor across multiple industries, helping clients build and maintain OSHA-compliant safety programs.
- Conduct onsite safety audits and hazard assessments with a focus on actionable recommendations.
- Develop and implement written programs such as Emergency Action Plans, Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, Bloodborne Pathogens, and more.
- Deliver interactive, OSHA-compliant training sessions—topics may include Forklift Safety, Respiratory Protection & Fit Testing, and Lockout/Tagout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client projects, managing schedules, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring high levels of service.
- Stay informed on the latest OSHA regulations and industry best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
- Maintain accurate records and handle administrative duties such as reporting, documentation, and client communication.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in occupational health & safety, ideally with exposure to consulting or multi-client work.
- Demonstrated ability to assess hazards, write inspection reports, and deliver client-ready safety solutions.
- Experience writing and implementing tailored safety programs and site-specific procedures.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills; able to lead training for diverse audiences confidently and clearly.
- Excellent time management and organization—able to manage multiple projects, clients, and deliverables effectively.
- A consultative mindset—professional, responsive, and relationship-driven.
Preferred Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or related field.
- GSP or ASP certification (preferred or in progress).
- OSHA 511 and/or OSHA 501 (preferred or in progress).
- First Aid/CPR Instructor certification (preferred but not required).
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 20% (some overnight travel may be required).
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet client needs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various environments including active job sites.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs., climb ladders, crawl, and stoop as needed.
