In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a dedicated and high performing team, delivering quality legal advice and services to support the business and operations of Transport for NSW and other agencies in the transport portfolio.
Provide expert legal advice with a focus on privacy that facilitates the Transport entities’ compliance with their statutory, policy and contractual obligations. This will include undertaking privacy impact assessments, managing responses to data breaches, handling external reviews in NCAT and delivering privacy training.

About you
A qualified solicitor who holds a practising certificate and is currently practicing. You will have 2+ years’ experience as a solicitor providing legal advice within a private firm, in house or Government legal team.
Experience and expertise in privacy and any of the following areas of law: Administrative or regulatory law, Commercial law, Employment or safety law, Liability litigation or inquiries or prosecutions.
Strong communication and influence effectively and inspire confidence in clients as they grapple with high profile and often challenging issues.
A commitment to modelling the highest standards of integrity and professional conduct is fundamental.
