Provide office support to both individuals and/or team members of a well-established Property and Casualty Insurance Agency.  No insurance background necessary.   

Office Administrator/Coordinator

Administrator Duties:

  • Answering incoming calls; taking messages and re-directing calls as required

  • Dealing with email enquiries

  • Taking notes

  • Data entry

  • General office management

  • Providing administration support to Sales Reps, Property Managers and Senior Management

  • Directing, reviewing, and optimizing office operations to increase accuracy, productivity, and efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Providing basic bookkeeping services.

Administrator Requirements:

  • Degree in business administration or a relevant field is preferred.

  • At 1 year experience in administrative services or related fields.

  • Additional education, certifications, or experience is advantageous.

  • Understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping software may be required.

  • Familiarity with office technology and equipment, including computers, fax machines, scanners, printers, phone systems, etc.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proactive, organized approach to multitasking.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Professional appearance, communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, punctuality, teamwork and collaboration skills, work ethic, project management skills.
