Admissions Coordinator POSITION SUMMARY
LVN or RN preferred or MINIMUM 3 years admissions experience in LTC setting
We are looking for a skilled Admissions Coordinator to become a part of our facility’s compassionate care-giving team. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining information and admitting patients/residents in an efficient manner, in accordance with established policies and procedures and as directed by your supervisor/Administrator. Uses established work systems and processes to facilitate quality of care and quality of life while ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance with all applicable laws and professional standards of practice. Facilitates effective communication of resident needs and issues to the team and fosters positive change, professional/program growth and teamwork.

Requirements
Admissions Coordinator QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Admissions Coordinator EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or relevant qualification.
- Possession of a current valid Texas driver’s license or regular means of transportation to and from work.
- LVN or RN License is preferred or at least 3 years experience in admissions in LTC setting.
- One (1) year of experience as a nurse in a skilled rehabilitation, skilled nursing or Long-Term Care (LTC) environment preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
