Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
Required Experience:
3+ years in compensation analysis, HR analytics, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
2+ years experience in large, complex, or matrixed organizations.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrated ability to manage and interpret complex datasets. Ability to translate data into insights that drive decisions. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling); experience with HRIS and reporting tools (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, Tableau, or Power BI). Knowledge of compensation principles and regulatory requirements. Detail Orientation: Strong commitment to accuracy and data integrity. Collaboration: Work effectively with HR, Finance, and business leaders. Communication: Clear presentation of complex information in user-friendly formats. Problem-Solving: Creative approach to addressing compensation and data challenges.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Familiarity with Radford, Mercer, CompAnalyst or other compensation survey platforms.
Additional Information:In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $135,000.00 to USD $155,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
