Primary Purpose: Coordinate and supervise the activities of the building mechanics work force to provide school facilities in a condition of operating excellence, appearance, and safety, so that full educational use of the facilities can be obtained. Responsible for minor electrical, plumbing, mechanical and building repairs, and ensure work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures. Perform work along with employees as needed.

High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to organize, coordinate, and supervise work of skilled personnel
Management, communications, and leadership skills
Considerable knowledge of the standard methods, principles, practices, tools and equipment of the maintenance trades
Skill in applying general maintenance principles, practices and techniques
Ability to monitor and evaluate programs and organizational performance in order to assess efficiency and effectiveness
Valid Texas Driver's License
Experience:
Five years in related management position
Salary: AP PG 1 / 240 days
