We’re on the hunt for our next Warehouse Distribution Manager. This individual is responsible for leading all transportation, logistics, and distribution operations that support our retail network, salvage and aftermarket programs, and sustainability efforts. This role is central to ensuring efficient routing, reliable delivery performance, and reduced waste, while maximizing the impact and value of all donated goods. Success in this role means running a high-output logistics and distribution network with precision, safety, and mission alignment at the core.
The Awesome Things You’ll Do
- Oversee all logistics, transportation, and distribution systems to ensure timely, cost-effective, and dependable delivery to retail and aftermarket channels
- Manage routing, scheduling, and equipment utilization to improve delivery performance, reduce delays, and lower transportation costs
- Lead the execution and optimization of salvage distribution programs, ensuring maximum value recovery
- Oversee and improve waste and trash reduction strategies to support sustainability goals and operational efficiency
- Ensure consistent delivery flow and operational coordination between distribution teams and the broader retail network
- Partner with warehouse and operations teams to ensure seamless handoffs and efficient fulfillment across all channels
- Manage and schedule distribution and driving teams, aligning workforce planning with delivery volume and performance goals
- Foster a strong safety culture across all transportation and logistics operations, with clear accountability and training
- Leverage logistics technology and data systems to track delivery performance, improve route efficiency, and support decision-making
- Champion continuous improvement and lean practices to optimize routes, reduce downtime, and eliminate inefficiencies
- Ensure that all donated goods are transported, handled, and processed in a way that supports the organization’s mission and minimizes waste
The Experiences, Skills and Perspectives You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or transportation management; retail or warehouse-based distribution experience preferred
- Proven ability to lead and manage distribution and logistics operations at scale
- Experience with routing software, fleet management tools, or logistics platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to use data to improve efficiency and performance
- Understanding of lean operations, continuous improvement, and safety best practices
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead by example and motivate teams
- Passion for mission-driven work and maximizing organizational impact
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
