Project Manager - GitLab Duo

Description

Project Manager will coordinate the implementation of GitLab Duo by assisting with the requirements gathering, coordinating the development teams agile sprints, tracking blockers / remove impediments, and ensuring the project meets its timelines and targets. You will work closely with engineers, product owners, and cross functional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and coordinate trainings and feedback gathering to measure the effectiveness of the AI toolset for the wider development community of ~300+ critical DoD and veteran support applications.


About the Team:

The Platform Engineering team builds and maintains core infrastructure, tools, and CI/CD pipelines that enable scalable, reliable, and secure application delivery across the organization. The org is most of the way through migration from on-prem to OCI, and we are maintaining day-to-day operations while building out many of the best practices DevSecOps capabilities and processes needed to mature the enterprise. ??



Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the team in applying Scrum and agile best practices
  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Remove obstacles and shield the team from external interruptions
  • Support the Product Owner in managing and refining the backlog
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment
  • Track and report on team progress and metrics


Requirements
  • Secret security clearance or above
  • 2+ years of Scrum Master experience, preferably with engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) preferred
