Position Purpose
An Associate Implementation Consultant intern at Orion Health is entering and learning about configuring and implementing software; and delivering technical solutions to the client. This role liaises with and provides support to Client Success Groups or directly to the client during the implementation and transition to ‘business as usual’. This role is also involved in facilitating knowledge transfer to the client and applying knowledge and experience to the diagnosis, solving problems and issues. They are developing an understanding of the practical application of implementation techniques, approaches and contemporary practices. They work under mentorship and supervision and actively seek feedback from their peers and others towards their growth.

Key Relationships
All Services team members, support services, development team and Sales Team to ensure transfer of knowledge and open communication behaviors. External key relationships will be developed with Client Project teams and Business Unit Managers
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Understand the construct of maintaining and documenting configurations. Learn and participate in the multiple stages of testing (eg: System, Integration and Performance), understanding RDBMS and learning to perform data extraction, conversion and manipulation. Learn to prepare and maintain technical documentation for project team and client deliverables.
- Project Delivery: Supports the team towards design, configuration, testing, and documenting solutions based on a project's functional and business requirements. Helps with installation and deployment of completed software products.
- Post-implementation Support: Absorbs, learns and contributes towards maintaining, configuring and supporting implemented software products.
- Problem Analysis and Resolution: Willingness and ability to learn quickly the Orion Software products and to be able to logically resolve reported problems when required to. Apply training and logic to assist clients in remote and possibly onsite troubleshooting and problem resolution. Exercise judgment in prioritizing problems and escalating issues where necessary. Utilize Issue Tracking system to gather information, analyze results, track issues and resolutions.
Behavioural and Technical Capabilities
Knowledge in the following is advantageous, but not essential:
- Java/.NET or Python programming languages
- HTML, JavaScript, REST/SOAP and XML
- Linux, Bash scripting
- Git

Qualifications
- Preferred: Enrolled in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology program or equivalent.
- Position requires up to 25% travel
