About AOT

We're on a mission to help enterprises and governments bring their ideas to life.

As a boutique consulting firm, we partner with enterprises, startups, and governments to solve complex, mission-critical challenges. Our expertise spans business process management, automation and AI, cloud, and application development. Our teams are collaborative, our leadership is transparent, and our work is impactful.

Alongside our consulting practice, we’re product builders: our flagship platform, formsflow.ai, is a low-code solution that simplifies complex form creation, approvals, and workflow automation, helping organizations move faster without sacrificing quality or compliance. Under the SLED360 umbrella, we deliver products and services tailored to the unique needs of state and local governments and the education sector, from modern case management to digital services. Our product offerings reflect our entrepreneurial spirit and firsthand experience solving real-world problems with scalable, human-centered technology.

As we expand into new markets and scale our solutions, there’s never been a better time to join AOT.

Role & Responsibilities

As Compliance Analyst, you’ll ensure that compliance is not just an afterthought, but a core part of how we design, build, and scale. You’ll bring structure, foresight, and creativity to embed compliance into our SaaS solutions. Your work will directly impact client trust and regulatory readiness in a fast-moving SaaS environment. You will:

  • Partner with product managers and engineers to ensure compliance is built in to products, workflows, and infrastructure

  • Monitor compliance with Canadian, U.S., and European standards, including HIPAA, SOC2, ISO, and GDPR
  • Lead and support audit processes, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external auditors
  • Proactively influence organizational compliance
  • Conduct risk assessments and draft reports with prioritized remediation plans
  • Analyze and align AOT’s systems with data protection protocols (encryption, messaging, storage)

Please note that this role is regularly required to collaborate across multiple time zones – e.g., IST, CET (about 8 hours per week).

Who You Are

You bring curiosity, structure, and a calm under pressure that helps others feel confident in complex regulatory landscapes. You’re experienced enough to own audits, and versatile enough to learn new frameworks on the fly. You have the mindset of a builder and see compliance as a product feature and a competitive advantage.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, software engineering, or related disciplines
  • 3–5 years in compliance, risk management, or audit in SaaS or highly regulated industries
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC2, ISO standards, and GDPR/Canadian privacy regulations
  • Skilled with tools like Excel, Power BI, Jira, and compliance tracking platforms
  • Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and encryption protocols for data at rest and in transit
  • Comfortable operating across North American and global regulatory environment

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of SaaS, software development, and product management practices
  • Direct experience in software development or product management
