Maintenance Supervisor at U.S. Silica Holdings Inc.

Essential Job Function:

• Direct, schedule, and oversee maintenance technicians and contractors. Provide training, feedback, and ensure adherence to safety and performance standards.
• Plan, assign, and follow up on preventative maintenance tasks. Ensure timely response and resolution to unplanned equipment failures.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulations (OSHA/MSHA). Lead safety meetings, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Collaborate with production, reliability, and engineering teams to prioritize maintenance needs and support process improvements.
• Manage spare parts inventory. Track maintenance activities in the CMMS system. Monitor work orders, labor hours, and costs.
• Identify root causes of equipment issues and recommend process or equipment improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Educations, Experience, Skills and Abilities:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associates Degree mechanical, electrical, or industrial technology or related discipline preferred, equivalent work experience acceptable
• 4-6 years of Industrial maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role required
• Working knowledge of CMMS (e.g., SAP, MP2, eMaint)
• Familiarity with OSHA, MSHA, and other relevant safety standards
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair capabilities
• Strong background in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
