Inventory Control Associate I at Charcuterie

The Inventory Control Associate I is responsible for performing routine cycle counts, Bin audits, and assisting with investigations to maintain inventory accuracy. The Associate I works closely with other warehouse functions and must follow inventory procedures and safety guidelines at all times.A forklift license is required

Duties/Responsibilities

Conduct cycle counts and assist with routine inventory audits

Support labeling and bin maintenance activities

Verify product locations and report discrepancies to inventory leadership

Assist with count documentation, document retention, and year end inventory

Operate forklifts and handheld barcode scanners

Maintain organization of inventory and staging locations to drive accuracy

Learn and apply inventory best practices and SOPs under guidance

Communicate clearly with materials and receiving teams as needed

Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Attention to detail and basic math skills

Familiarity with handheld barcode scanners or inventory tools

Comfortable manipulating data in excel using formatting and basic formulas

Ability to follow instructions and escalate discrepancies when unsure

Forklift certification required

Willingness to learn ERP system usage and data procedures

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or GED required

· Minimum of 1 year in a warehouse or inventory-support role preferred
