Door Person at Brighton Resort

As a Door Person, you are responsible for greeting guests, verifying age identification for bar entry, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

Manager: Executive Chef and F&B Operations Managers

Status: Seasonal (with potential for year-round opportunities depending on performance and business needs)

Position Start Date: Winter Season 25/26

Typical Schedule: Open availability required, including weekends, evenings, and holidays; schedule will vary based on service needs.

- Greet guests at the entrance and provide a welcoming experience.

- Verify legal age with proper identification for entry into the bar.

- Manage guest flow and line organization.

- Monitor crowd behavior and assist with security protocols.

- Communicate effectively with management and security teams.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Professional appearance and demeanor.

- Ability to handle potentially stressful or confrontational situations.

- Previous hospitality, customer service, or security experience preferred.

- Ability to ski is a plus but not required.

Work Environment & Transportation Requirements:

Working at Brighton Resort requires commitment and planning to arrive on time and navigate canyon traffic and mountain weather conditions. Employees must be prepared for delays, road restrictions, and seasonal challenges associated with high-altitude resort operations.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate commercial equipment as required by role.

- Comfortable working in cold, snowy, and high-altitude conditions.

- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak ski/summer seasons.
