Your responsibilities
1. Strategic Sourcing & Execution
- Design and implement sourcing strategies aligned with global objectives.
- Manage a robust pipeline of procurement projects with strong execution, negotiation, and contract management.
2. Financial Ownership
- Drive annual budget planning and spend forecasting.
- Lead monthly/quarterly financial reviews and corrective action planning.
- Optimize cost of goods through tenders, RFQs, and benchmarking.
- Deliver Net Working Capital (NWC) improvements.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Influence internal stakeholders to align with procurement goals.
- Partner cross-functionally to meet business needs and maximize value.
4. Supplier & Category Management
- Manage procurement of packaging materials within assigned category.
- Monitor supplier performance against KPI’s: cost, quality, service, and cash.
5. Innovation & Market Intelligence
- Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation and sustainability.
- Leverage market insights to inform sourcing decisions.
- Support upstream initiatives and material optimization projects.
6. Risk & Compliance
- Assess and mitigate supplier risks; lead contingency planning.
- Ensure contracts meet legal standards and pricing compliance.
The experience we're looking for
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in strategic procurement, preferably with commodity/category expertise.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Finance, Business, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Contract & Negotiation Expertise: Skilled in developing high-value contracts and managing complex negotiations with a balance of assertiveness and diplomacy.
- Supplier & Category Management: Proven ability to manage supplier performance and drive continuous improvement across tactical and strategic supply bases.
- Financial & Analytical Acumen: Strong understanding of cost structures, budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Project Management: Demonstrated success in leading procurement and cross-functional projects from concept to execution.
- Digital Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and familiarity with AI tools.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to navigate stakeholder interests and resolve conflicts effectively.
