Due to growth and expansion, we’re looking for a Principal Product Designer to lead design across our app platform ecosystem. This is a senior, hands-on role where you’ll shape the vision, elevate our design practice, and ensure that our platform empowers teams to build seamless, scalable, and human-centred experiences.
Some of Your Responsibilities and Core Duties will be
- You’ll partner with product, engineering, and research to define how our platform works, feels, and evolves. From design systems to cross-experience patterns, you’ll guide the strategic direction and ensure world-class execution.
- Lead design for core platform & traversal initiatives — design systems, UI frameworks, and shared experiences.
- Define and champion design standards that scale across products and teams.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and research leaders to shape platform strategy.
- Mentor and coach designers, raising the quality of design craft across the organisation.
- Represent design at the leadership level, influencing strategy with a human-centric perspective.
The Experience and Key Skills you will have:
- 10+ years of product design experience, with deep expertise in platform or systems design.
- You are resilient and have proactive mindset around continuous product improvement
- You are comfortable working in uncertainty and drive things forward with clarity and vision
- A portfolio that demonstrates high-level systems thinking, exceptional craft, and real-world impact.
- Experience building and evolving design systems
- used by multiple products and teams.
- Data literacy – ability to interpret data and research insights that guide your design decisions
- Comfortable operating strategically while remaining hands-on in the work.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- You are proactive, well-structured, and attentive to details
- AI/ML understanding and interest. Designing for adaptive and intelligent experiences.
- Systems thinking – grasping how design decisions ripple through technical, business and organisational systems.
The Interview Process:
- Online interview with the Senior Talent Partner. This should last no longer than 45 minutes.
- Online interview with the Head of Product Design and a Lead Product Designer
- Final interview with the Head of Product Design and Product Director
