Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Outpatient Neurology at Mayo Clinic

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Outpatient Neurology team in Arizona.  This advanced practice provider will deliver high-quality neurological care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and evaluations.
  • Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and non-pharmacological therapies.
  • Educate and counsel patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with neurologists and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in performance improvement and research initiatives.
  • Engage in community outreach and professional development.

During the OnDemand interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question – Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps.

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current AZ RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP, ANP or ACNP.  


Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice.  


Additional Qualifications: 
Active BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required
