As a Health Support Advisor, you’ll play a crucial role in our early intervention and recovery journey providing personalised, compassionate support that ensures our team members return to work safely and sustainably. It’s an opportunity to make a real impact in a team that values innovation, empathy, and continuous improvement.What you’ll deliver with us  In this role, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of low-risk workers compensation claims, acting as a central point of contact for injured team members. You’ll work closely with the Workplace Recovery team, operational leaders, medical professionals, and other key internal and external stakeholders to achieve sustainable return-to-work outcomes. Reporting into the MyRecovery & Health leadership team, you’ll also contribute to strategic projects that improve health outcomes and enhance the customer experience.You’ll also   Manage a portfolio of low-risk claims, including assessing liability and determining entitlements in line with legislative obligations.Provide proactive and personalised support to injured team members, guiding them through their recovery and return-to-work journey with empathy and professionalism.Collaborate across internal and external stakeholders, including legal representatives, medical professionals, and unions, to ensure high-quality, sustainable recovery outcomes.Participate in case conferencing and milestone reviews to shape claim strategies and contribute to decision-making that reduces disputes and accelerates outcomes.Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance claims processes, improve health outcomes, and align practices with organisational goals.About you  You’re a compassionate and solutions-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative, people-centred environment. You bring strong communication and problem-solving skills, paired with the emotional intelligence needed to support team members through challenging circumstances. You’re motivated by achieving sustainable recovery outcomes and take pride in working across teams to deliver results that make a real difference.You’ll also need   Proven experience managing a portfolio of injured employees within a large or complex organisation.Strong knowledge of the workers’ compensation environment, including liability assessment, claims management processes, and self-insurance licence requirements.Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working closely with unions, operational leaders, People & Culture teams, medical professionals, and government agencies.High-level analytical and decision-making ability, with the capacity to interpret complex information and develop practical, compliant solutions.Previous experience in workers compensation, injury management, rehabilitation, or a related field, with demonstrated ability to influence change and contribute to team success.How we’ll deliver for youHybrid work model (between the office, travel to relevant work sites and being based at home)Be part of a collaborative as well as autonomous work environmentWe deliver on our values of Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment and Safety every day.
