International High Watchmaking Director

MAIN MISSIONS OF THE FUNCTION
Within the framework of Jaeger-LeCoultre's international commercial strategy, the International High Watchmaking (HWM) Director is responsible for building solid and sustainable foundations in the development of the Maison's VIC clientele in order to establish Jaeger-LeCoultre as a leading player in the world of Fine Watchmaking and to ensure the achievement of commercial objectives in the coming years.
TEAM MANAGEMENT:
Management and development of his/her team
- Manages and supports the existing HWM team composed of the following roles:
- Head of International VIC Development
- High-end Development Project Manager
- HWM Merchandising Manager
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
Commercial strategy to achieve sales objectives:
- Defines and implements a commercial and VIC conquest strategy across platforms, events and points of sale, adapted to the Maison's ambitions and in collaboration with the various departments of the commercial division.
- Is responsible for the HWM budget of the Maison.
- Ensures the effectiveness of the strategy in place as well as the performance and impact of the tools deployed, including the Manufacture’s Salon.
- Defines and implements the reporting and analyses to be delivered to measure HWM performance.
- Expresses the specific needs of the HWM and VIC segment to the Marketing Department regarding communication tools, both for the end customer and for major retailers (e.g., presentation tools, iPad, launch pack, print).
HWM Community/Stakeholders:
- Participates in the recruitment of international salespersons in collaboration with the Commercial Director, Brand Managers, the Head of International VIC Development and the Boutique Directors.
- Ensures the development of HWM skills within the Maison in collaboration with various teams and skills such as training and coaching.
- Is the privileged point of contact on the HWM scope for the various stakeholders (i.e., Finance, Manufacture, Creation, Marketing, Communication and Markets).
- Shares specific information on the HWM market with the Marketing Department and the Manufacture and supports them in identifying the needs of the HWM segment and the VIC clientele.
- Participates in the definition of the remuneration method for international salespersons in collaboration with the Retail and HR Department and ensures its effectiveness.
OPERATIONS:
Product, production and HWM stock
- Ensures a good alignment between products and HWM commercial needs.
- Reviews and ensures the alignment of specific industrial and commercial plans for HWM products in collaboration with the Product Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Business Development teams.
- Makes arbitrations in the rolling plans.
- Supervises the proper allocation and presence of stock on platforms, events and points of sale in order to meet commercial needs.
International Events
- Ensures the relevance, quality and performance of regional and international HWM events.
- Participates in HWM international events and occupies a role of representation with customers and partners, in support of the Head of International VIC Development.
Products and special orders
- Participates in the definition of an efficient and robust process for special orders, in collaboration with the main stakeholders (i.e., Design, Manufacture, Supply Chain).
