Join abra Auto Body, a division of Dahl Automotive, as a Body Shop Painter in beautiful Winona, MN! abra Auto Body is a premier auto body repair facility, recognized as a top choice for many insurance companies in the area, which means the shop is always full and you can be productive and successful!
Responsibilities
- Refinish all assigned vehicles, following the written repair order and ABRA’s operational excellence processes.
- Prepares spray-out panels to determine blend needs.
- Performs all refinish procedures according to factory specifications and ABRA policies.
- Follow all paint manufacturing guidelines
- Assist in prep work when necessary
- Ensure that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly has been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician
- Adhere to all regulatory compliance guidelines for hazardous waste disposal
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid drivers license and clean driving history
- 2-5 years automotive refinishing experience
- I-CAR certification preferred
- Comply with all safety requirements, respirator safety, and fitment/usage. Maintain compliance to pass required safety mask fit test
- Strong organizational skills
