Role Description
- Guiding the Cloud Engineers for their day-to-day engineering tasks
- Responsible for customer discussions w.r.t various Cloud operational & transformational activities
- Responsible for building and deploying automation using CI tools, Scripting tools such as Shell/Perl/Python.
- Automate build and deployment processes in a hybrid (AWS + proprietary) hosting environment
- Work with Engineering and Business Operations teams to understand monitoring requirements
- Document monitoring processes implemented across the system
Participate in capacity planning exercises for future needs and projects
Technical Skills
- Experience as DevOPS engineer in a scalable production environment
- Proficient working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) like EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, and Cloudfront in a highly available and scalable production environment
- Knowledge of AWS and Cloud Computing concepts (preferred experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk, AWSCloudFormation or AWS OpsWorks)
- Expertise in build management and software configuration management.
- Excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills, as well as innovation and creativity.
Nice-to-have skills
