Role Description

  • Guiding the Cloud Engineers for their day-to-day engineering tasks
  • Responsible for customer discussions w.r.t various Cloud operational & transformational activities
  • Responsible for building and deploying automation using CI tools, Scripting tools such as Shell/Perl/Python.
  • Automate build and deployment processes in a hybrid (AWS + proprietary) hosting environment
  • Work with Engineering and Business Operations teams to understand monitoring requirements
  • Document monitoring processes implemented across the system

Participate in capacity planning exercises for future needs and projects 

Technical Skills

  • Experience as DevOPS engineer in a scalable production environment
  • Proficient working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) like EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, and Cloudfront in a highly available and scalable production environment
  • Knowledge of AWS and Cloud Computing concepts (preferred experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk, AWSCloudFormation or AWS OpsWorks)
  • Expertise in build management and software configuration management. 
  • Excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills, as well as innovation and creativity.

 

Nice-to-have skills

  • Experience as DevOPS engineer in a scalable production environment
  • Proficient working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) like EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, and Cloudfront in a highly available and scalable production environment
