Job Title:  Social Media Intern

Job purpose: The Social Media Intern will contribute to our growing digital presence by creating content, engaging communities, supporting campaigns, and monitoring trends and analytics across platforms

 
Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor and engage with comments, messages, and audience interactions
  • Assist in planning, drafting, and scheduling content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok, etc. 
  • Engage with and moderate online communities, including Facebook groups, to foster a positive environment, respond to inquiries, and manage member requests
  • Research trending topics, audios, hashtags, and content ideas relevant to allergy, immunology, wellness, and more
  • Assist with campaign planning, influencer outreach, and audience engagement efforts
  • Create short-form content and keep up with emerging social media trends
  • Assist with social media reporting and basic analytics tracking

 

Qualifications: 

  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and content trends
  • Excellent written communication and organizational skills
  • Interest in health, wellness, and/or patient advocacy
  • Creative mindset and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or other content creation tools
  • Must be a team player with a positive, proactive attitude

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk between multiple office locations that include the use of stairs (elevator is only available in some instances). 

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
