We're seeking a Data Privacy Lead to collaborate with data governance, technology, and business teams to implement data governance solutions aligned with enterprise privacy objectives. The ideal candidate has expertise in Data Governance, Privacy, and Compliance with strong technical skills to develop robust privacy solutions ensuring compliance with global regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Data Privacy:
- Conduct Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
- Manage Data Subject Rights (DSR) requests
- Maintain and implement the company's record retention schedule
- Support AI compliance with EU AI Act regulations
- Ensure privacy by design in system architecture
- Develop and maintain Data Privacy roadmap and project plans
Data Analysis:
- Inventory privacy issues and propose mitigation plans
- Analyze data compliance with governance frameworks
- Create dashboards and reports using visualization tools
- Audit governance solutions for adherence to standards
- Establish data and AI governance standards for privacy
Data Stewardship:
- Collaborate with teams to establish governance workflows
- Champion approved metadata usage through training
- Perform data analysis and document requirements
- Provide status updates to leadership
- Coordinate cross-functional communications
Qualifications
- BS Degree in Computer Science or Information Management
- 5+ years of reporting/data analytics experience
- 3+ years influencing data privacy decisions and solutions
- Privacy certifications (CIPP/US, CIPM, and/or CIPT)
- Experience with Azure Cloud, Databricks, Python, SQL, and PowerBI
- Expert knowledge of global data privacy regulations
- Strong project management and communication skills
