THE JOB:

As the Lead Lighting Technician, you won’t just run lights, you’ll create unforgettable moments of wonder!  Working under the guidance of the Head of Lighting, you’ll lead a talented team of Lighting Technicians and collaborate with fellow theatrical departments to bring the show to life.  From performances and rehearsals to behind-the-scenes maintenance, your expertise will help ensure every cue dazzles and every guest leaves amazed.

THE STARTING RATE:  $44.30 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Inspect, operate, maintenance and maintain lighting equipment to industry standards
• Keep maintenance records, documentation, and systems up to date
• Collaborate with the Head of Lighting on special projects and new installations
• Support the lighting designer’s vision and preserve “opening night” quality every performance
• Manage inventory to keep supplies and equipment stocked and ready
• Ensure a safe working environment and follow all safety policies and training

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Four (4) years of experience with large-scale theatrical or concert production
• Knowledgeable of the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of Automated Lighting Fixtures, Projection Systems (Projectors, LED and Media Servers), Industrial Power Distribution, Dimming Systems, Ethernet based lighting and projection control distribution systems, and Special Effects Equipment
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all business contacts
