SUMMARY
The ServMart Contract Manager is responsible for the overall supervision and coordination of daily operations to ensure successful service delivery under the GSA ServMart contract. The ServMart Contract Manager oversees staff, manages budgets, ensures contract compliance, and maintains strong relationships with government personnel and customers. The ServMart Contract Manager plays a critical leadership role in maintaining performance standards and delivering quality customer service across all ServMart locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Supervise and manage employees to meet all contractual requirements and performance goals.
- Maintain current knowledge of contract and subcontract modifications.
- Communicate regularly with the Contracts Project Manager, On-Site Government Manager, and Senior Director.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with government personnel, vendors, and contractors.
- Plan and schedule staff workloads to meet contract requirements and ensure proper shift coverage.
- Monitor project ratios, staffing levels, and payroll to stay within budget.
- Train, coach, and evaluate employees in store operations, customer service, and company policies.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment for all team members.
- Provide excellent customer service and guide staff to uphold the same standard.
- Operate cash registers accurately and ensure proper handling of payments, returns, and sales reporting.
- Address customer complaints, product inquiries, and store issues professionally and promptly.
- Monitor for theft or safety concerns and report incidents to store management.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure service quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with safety personnel to enforce OSHA and state safety standards.
- Ensure adherence to all company, store, and safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Valid driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract.
- Must have the ability to pass and maintain required contract security clearances for base installation access and use of government technology.
