About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and adaptable Corporate Lawyer to join our legal team as Head of Legal, Corporate. In this role, you will lead another corporate legal counsel and collaborate closely with the rest of the legal team, which includes commercial and privacy attorneys, as well as our governance, risk and compliance tam function.We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Corporate Lawyer to join our legal team as Head of Legal, Corporate. This role involves leading another corporate legal counsel and working closely with the broader legal team, which includes commercial and privacy attorneys, as well as our governance, risk, and compliance function. This role reports to the Director of Legal.

The ideal candidate will be a Swiss (preferred) or German qualified lawyer with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience, including significant time in both private practice and in-house. You should thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and possess a "generalist" mindset, comfortable managing a wide range of legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Corporate & Finance:
    Advise on a wide range of corporate and finance matters, including company structuring, corporate governance, and financing arrangements.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions:
    Lead and support M&A transactions and other strategic projects from due diligence through to integration.
  • Real Estate:
    Manage real estate transactions, including leases and related property matters.
  • Employment Law:
    Provide pragmatic advice on employment law topics and compliance with labor laws.
  • Equity Plans:
    Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of employee equity and incentive plans.
  • Generalist Legal Support:
    Act as a trusted advisor and “all-rounder” for internal stakeholders, providing legal guidance on a broad range of business issues.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Work closely with business teams, executive management, and external counsel to deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified lawyer in Switzerland (preferred) or Germany. 
  • Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience, with a mix of law firm and in-house roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in corporate, finance, M&A, real estate, employment, and equity plan matters.
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken) are required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced growth company is required.
  • Experience working with a publicly listed company is highly desired.
  • Strong commercial acumen, hands-on approach, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
