POSITION SUMMARY

Professionally represents Everence Federal Credit Union to members and future members. Accurately and efficiently processes member transactions and service requests in a courteous, confidential, and professional manner. Assists with a variety of back-office responsibilities such as maintenance, mail processing, and member notices..

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  1. Process member transactions such as deposits, loan payments, transfers, cashier’s checks, cash advances, and stop payments etc.
  2. Adhere to policies and procedures, including but not limited to security and transaction verification.  Adhere to Anti-Money-Laundering Policy established to comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), which includes Customer Identification Program (CIP), Currency Transaction Report (CTR), Suspicious Activity Report (SAR), and Monetary Instrument Log; the USA Patriot Act; and regulations from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
  3. Scan checks received for deposit or payment. Resolve any out-of-balance issues.
  4. Complete forms and enter information into the database to establish new memberships, products, or services, order checks, and perform maintenance and service requests.
  5. Process and return mail for the Administrative Center.
  6. Complete reports and records as needed.
  7. Prepare and send correspondence related to member accounts, including certificates, negative balances, and escheat regulations. 
  8. Complete all required training for the position and participate in electives to enhance skills.
  9. Participate in meetings and other events as required.

Education

Current high school junior or senior

  3. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  4. Accuracy and attention to detail, along with mathematical aptitude and analytical skills
  5. Ability to exercise good judgment, solve problems, provide sound advice, and cross-sell products and services
  6. Ability to operate relevant computer applications and business equipment; experience with customer databases is a plus
  7. Flexibility to adapt to changing workflows to stay productive in fast-paced environments
  8. Availability to work as needed based on branch needs

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
SCHEDULE: Part-time, 10-20 hours/week
