Position Overview:
D2 Government Solutions is currently seeking a part-time experienced Bookkeeper to join our accounting team. This role involves handling day-to-day financial tasks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The position is based onsite at our New Bern, NC headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record financial transactions (purchases, sales, receipts, payments) using QuickBooks Online

  • Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing, expense verification, and ensuring timely vendor payments

  • Reconcile bank statements with company financial records

  • Maintain organized financial documentation (receipts, invoices, and related records)

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment

  • Collaborate with finance team members and other departments as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 years’ bookkeeping experience

  • At least 2 years of experience with QuickBooks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Accounting or related field

  • 10+ years of bookkeeping experience
