We are seeking a seasoned Senior Retail Delivery Lead to drive the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional retail programs. This role is critical in ensuring strategic alignment, commercial success, and operational excellence across large-scale retail initiatives. You will lead end-to-end program delivery, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure financial and contractual integrity throughout the lifecycle of each project.
This role reports directly to the Head of Services and is based in our Milton Keynes office.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of high-impact retail programs across multiple business units and store formats.
- Develop and manage integrated program plans, budgets, risks, and resource allocations.
- Align delivery outcomes with strategic retail goals, customer experience enhancements, and commercial targets.
- Oversee procurement, contract management, and support business development in new retail opportunities.
- Drive governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement across all levels of the organization.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks, issues, and interdependencies across retail operations and technology.
- Champion best practices in program management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Monitor financial performance to ensure programs deliver expected margin and value.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and commercial teams to ensure compliance and profitability.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in retail program delivery and transformation in complex, multi-site environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in budgeting, contract negotiation, and financial tracking.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and retail technology partners.
- Familiarity with Agile, PRINCE2, PMP, or similar certifications (preferred).
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Project Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, MSP, Agile, Prince2) are highly desirable.

Senior Manager, Retail Implementation & Transformation
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Manager leading the delivery of high-impact retail programs across diverse store formats and business units. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, elevating customer experience, and supporting commercial growth through strategic implementation initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Lead Retail Program Delivery
Oversee end-to-end execution of retail initiatives—from store rollouts and technology deployments to process improvements—ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Drive Customer-Centric Implementations
Ensure solutions meet brand standards and customer expectations through effective planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement.
Own Regional Performance Metrics
Manage key KPIs including revenue forecast accuracy, order fulfillment, and inventory readiness to support successful program outcomes.
Collaborate Across Functions
Partner with Store Operations, Merchandising, IT, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless delivery and resolve escalations.
Governance & Reporting
Lead program governance, risk management, and executive-level reporting to maintain transparency and accountability.
Champion Best Practices
Promote Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies to optimize delivery and embed continuous improvement across retail operations.
Ensure Compliance & Profitability
Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Procurement to ensure programs are commercially sound and contractually compliant.
What You Bring
- Proven experience leading complex retail programs or implementations.
- Strong understanding of store operations, omnichannel retail, and customer experience strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Expertise in program management methodologies and tools.
- Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in delivering and transforming retail programs across complex, multi-site operations.
- Strong commercial insight, including hands-on experience with budgeting, contract negotiation, and financial oversight.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to influence senior leaders.
- Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira.
- Skilled in leading cross-functional teams, managing third-party vendors, and collaborating with retail technology partners.
- Knowledge of project management frameworks such as Agile, PRINCE2, or PMP (certifications are a plus).
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment.
