Spire Southbank have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper to join the team on a part time contract, working 30 hours per week.
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of cleanliness within our fantastic clinic. This pivotal role will ensure we are compliant will infection prevention and ensuring our state of the art facilities remain pristine at all times. We work with some of the areas most experienced Consultant Surgeons, Anaesthetists and Physicians to deliver tailored, personalised care. We are proud of the positive patient feedback we receive and are currently undertaking refurbishment of our in-patient bedrooms following significant recent investment.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure that patient rooms are ready for admissions
- In patient rooms are serviced daily
- Departments and public areas are cleaned
- Comply with daily and weekly cleaning schedules
- Liaise and take direction from nursing staff and other departments.
- Be flexible and accommodate changes as necessary in providing continuity of care and Quality Improvement
- To assist the nursing staff to ensure patient rooms are ready for admission
- To support other members of the team, with occasional supervision of less experienced staff
Who we're looking for:
- You will ideally have experience in a cleaning capacity within a commercial environment, however this is not essential as full training and development will be provided.
- Awareness and understanding of Health & Safety at Work and COSHH
- Previous experience working in a similar role in the healthcare sector
- Flexibility to the required shifts
- Someone with a great work ethic who excels in customer service
- Ability to work weekends
