The Technical Account Representative plays an important role in developing and maintaining relationships with key customers. The Technical Account Representative will lead all activities related to sales and relationship growth, including design, strategic development, customer specific item creation, sales presentation, analysis and forecasting. This Technical Account Representative will work across multiple cross-functional teams both internally at Pratt and with the customers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as a strategic partner to customer stakeholders with a focus on technical expertise, solution driven development, elevating presence, and maintaining an eye on growth opportunities across different sales categories.
- Act as the key point of contact with the account, owning the commercial relationship with the customer and managing/addressing daily requests.
- Identify new opportunities, drive innovation, item expansion, and packaging improvements with customers, while troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Develop customer specific plans by working on Structural Design, Sourcing, and Pricing Teams.
- Responsible for growing profitable volume year over year to achieve sales objectives and satisfy customer needs.
- Identify and bring on board new strategic vendor relationships to grow and expand our scope of solutions.
- Oversee project allocation and daily operations through the design center
- Develop and grow the design team with a focus on creativity, efficiency, and cross-functionality
