Job Summary

Southern Foodservice Management is seeking an experienced and service-driven Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our upscale restaurant at a private dining club. This role requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality, team development, and delivering world-class dining experiences. The Restaurant Manager will set the tone for excellence by ensuring seamless service, operational efficiency, and an atmosphere of elegance for our members and their guests.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during shifts.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate staff to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings, oversee temperature/cooler checks, and manage closing duties including daily reporting.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and fine dining service.
  • Partner with leadership to recruit, interview, hire, and onboard team members; support training and ongoing development.
  • Oversee private events, and special functions, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Monitor financial performance including labor, inventory, and cost control.
  • Place, track, and inspect food, beverage, and supply orders while managing inventory and high-cost items.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Handle member inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and Southern Foodservice’s culture.
  • Support operational flexibility by working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 10+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in fine dining, luxury dining, or a private club setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage diverse teams.
  • Proven background in food quality oversight, customer service excellence, and event management.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, cost controls, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, health regulations, and best practices in upscale dining.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • ServSafe certification up to date.
